BLOW TO 2014 POLICE RECRUITS

STATEMENT BY STATE HOUSE ON FRESH POLICE RECRUITMENT 'DO NOT REPORT FOR TRAINING': NPSC Chairman Johnston Kavuludi yesterday made a statement in which he announced that a new recruitment exercise for 10,000 police officers will be conducted on Monday 20thApril, 2015. I do confirm that the decision was reached in consultation with His Excellency the President. Consequently, those who had been recruited in 2014 Must Not report to the National Police Service training institutions tomorrow Sunday 12th April 2015 as earlier indicated. Instead, they MUST join other candidates interested and eligible to serve in the National Police Service and report to the designated centres for the fresh recruitment exercise on Monday, 20th April 2015. The new date for reporting to the National Police Service training institutions (Kenya Police Training College -Kiganjo, Administration Training College – Embakasi and General Service Unit (GSU)Training School – Embakasi)will be announced by the Inspector-General of Police after conclusion of the fresh recruitment exercise.
